Tristan’s career hasn’t followed a straight line and that’s exactly why clients connect with him.
Tristan began working inside a bank, where he gained a good grounding in finance and an understanding of how important financial literacy is. That experience shines through when he is identifying ways our brokers can help new clients!
But his story doesn’t stop at banking...
As a qualified barber, he spent years building trust through real conversations, having clients in his chair every day taught him how to listen properly, understand different situations and create a space where no question feels uncomfortable.
Outside of finance, he also runs his own DJ business. You’ll often find him behind the decks at festivals like Party in the Paddock and at major events and clubs across Tasmania. Performing at large-scale events has sharpened his ability to read a room, stay calm under pressure and bring energy to any environment. It’s also given him firsthand experience in the world of self-employment, managing bookings, income fluctuations, expenses and cash flow.
That combination of banking knowledge, community connection and small business experience gives Tristan a well-rounded understanding of both structured finance and the realities of running your own thing.
